Authority programme

Engines need a clear picture of your brand — not a lookalike.

The authority programme is a phased checklist of entity signals — identity, people, topical depth, primary evidence, distribution, off-site corroboration, and AI recognition — measured on the live site and planned off-site, never invented.

It unlocks with Monitor. Scores are checklists with a stated basis: measured, partial, or not measured. Missing inputs lower the basis. They do not fabricate a number.

The binding constraint names the next failing category in a fixed order: entity, then people, then the weaker of topical or primary evidence, then distribution, then off-site, then recognition. That is the next dollar, not a slogan.

We do not fabricate off-site authority. Social consistency is probed. Wikidata output is paste-ready QuickStatements for a human to submit. Outreach becomes verified only when a live URL is re-fetched.

Unlocks with Monitor at $295/mo. Grow and Dominate keep the same profile and add content cycles that the constraint is meant to sequence.

What ships

Concrete artifacts in the client room — not a slogan.

01

Authority Profile

Seven categories, each with a score, a basis, and evidence. An archetype from a rule table — misassociated, greenfield, signature patterns, or established — and the binding constraint.

02

Phased plan

P0 entity, P1 topical, P2 distribution, P3 external. Advancement is criteria-driven. P3 stays plan-only until you choose to run it. Re-running an audit never demotes a programme.

03

Entity and NAP checks

Organization and Person markup, sameAs links that resolve, and — when you have registered locations — a name/address/phone consistency scan. We measure AI answers and on-page NAP, not Maps pack rankings.

04

Off-site receipts

Verified-live placements, linked versus unlinked mentions, and consistent social profiles when those probes have run. Unmeasured legs are labelled not measured.

How it works

01

We measure entity signals on the live site — identity, people, topical depth, primary evidence.

02

Each category is a checklist of what is present, missing, or not measured.

03

The binding constraint names the next failing category.

04

Off-site work is planned. We do not invent placements.

What we measure

On-site engines
Deterministic fetches of the live site: about and team pages, schema types, sameAs HEAD checks, hub and pillar links, article depth samples, Open Graph and canonical signals.
Recognition
AI-recognition probes are cadence-gated. Off-category associations can raise a disambiguation task. We do not treat a mention as a citation win.
What we refuse
Domain-authority proxies, invented backlink counts, and sameAs links that do not resolve. External validation is labelled plan only until a URL is live-verified.

What this is not

  • Not a citation guarantee. A clear entity still has to be the better source.
  • Not a DA or backlink product.
  • Not an off-site writing desk that claims placements it did not measure.
  • Not mixed into the free-audit headline. Layer 1 is readiness.

Brands that are mis-associated or invisible as an entity, and researchers who want to see whether “authority” is a checklist or a vibe.

How to test it

For buyers and researchers. Every step is something you can do without taking our word.

  1. 01

Ask whether every category states its basis, and whether “not measured” can appear. A score without a basis is a guess.

  2. 02

Ask what happens when a sameAs URL returns an error. Ours drops the credit.

  3. 03

Read What is entity authority? then compare the seven categories on this page to any vendor’s “authority score.”

  4. 04

Unlocks with Monitor at $295/mo. Compare packages on /pricing.

Questions we get

Does a high authority checklist get us cited?
No. It tells you which signal is missing. Citations still depend on whether an engine chooses your page for a question. We measure that on the citation board.
Do you create the Wikipedia or Wikidata page?
We draft eligible QuickStatements for a human to submit. We never claim the entry exists until a monitor sees it live. Ineligible brands are refused with a reason.
Is off-site work included?
The plan is included. Verified-live is system-granted after a URL is re-fetched. We do not invent placements to fill a score.
