AI operability is a probe-based report of what agents can do on the live site today — reach pages, operate forms, and see protocol signals — not a forecast of agent sales and not citation monitoring.
It is included with Site Care at $49/mo, and with Monitor, Grow, and Dominate. The Pages fix list and this operability report are different surfaces. Care keeps both living.
We probe with real agent user-agents. Forms, commerce schema, and protocol signals (MCP, agent cards, bot authentication cues) are recorded as pass or fail. Recommended fixes land on the living checklist.
The free Layer 1 Audit is the same readiness job, measurement-only: deterministic checks on reachable pages, no Improve LLM essays. Site Care unlocks the itemized list, a daily technical re-score of every reachable page, a monthly operability re-probe, and unlimited verify-page while you are subscribed.

When you connect a write-capable CMS or GitHub, apply-fix can land on the site. Connection is not required to buy Site Care. Squarespace and Framer are named as detect-and-brief only — we do not pretend they are connected.

What we measure
- Agent user-agents
- Live fetches that identify as agents, not a desktop Chrome stand-in. Blocked or broken responses are recorded.
- Deterministic Layer 1
- Technical and score checks on every reachable page on the free path. We do not claim every page received an Improve LLM essay. Sampling, when it applies on paid deep work, is disclosed.
- Verify-page
- Re-fetch one URL, re-score against the pinned baseline, and promote a done item to verified only when the system grants it. Agents cannot self-mark verified.
What this is not
- Not a citation board. Citations unlock with Monitor.
- Not Cloudflare’s (or anyone’s) agent-traffic forecast. If we nod at news, we name the source and still measure your site.
- Not “every page fully AI-analysed” on the free path.
- Not a we-apply Sprint. Foundation is quoted separately when someone on our side ships the fixes.
Vibe-coders whose agent already ships, and teams who want the checklist to stay current after a redesign — plus researchers testing whether a site is usable by agents at all.
How to test it
For buyers and researchers. Every step is something you can do without taking our word.

Fetch /llms.txt, /agents.json, and /.well-known/mcp/server-card.json on this site — then run the same fetches on yours. That is the operability job.

Use Fit Check for platform and connectability. Use Layer 1 for the readiness audit. Neither is this monthly Care cadence.

Ask whether verify-page is system-granted. If a vendor lets the implementer tick “verified,” the proof is theatre.

- Layer 1 is the diagnosis. Site Care keeps the list living: daily technical re-score, monthly operability re-probe, unlimited verify while subscribed. The free path does not unlock the itemized list.
- Do I have to connect my CMS?
- No. Site Care is you or your agent apply; we measure. Connection is for apply-fix. Monitor, Grow, and Dominate do not require a connection.
- Does operability make ChatGPT cite us?
- No. It answers whether an agent can use the site. Citation standing is Monitor and above.
